Launch monitors can help you shoot lower scores with the golf swing and equipment you have right now (because they show how far you TRULY hit the ball with each club), but most are crazy expensive, big/bulky, require apps/downloads…and the cheap ones are often inaccurate. The new PRGR Black Pocket Launch Monitor is inexpensive, super accurate (it uses Doppler Radar!), and incredibly easy to use. It’s battery powered – just turn it on, place it on the ground, and hit. You’ll see your swing speed, ball speed, smash factor, and distance with each club (carry and total). Additional features: Automatic Shutoff to preserve battery. Works for Right and Left Handers. Keeps a history of your most recent 500 swings and measurements. Can measure your club head speed on practice swings. Weighs only 4.4 ounces with batteries included (that’s lighter than average smartphone!). Simple – gives you only the key stats you need. Comes with Batteries, User Manual, and Carry Pouch. Works with other sports you or your loved ones play including tennis, baseball (pitch speed and bat speed), soccer and hockey.

SUPERIOR ACCURACY: Uses Doppler Radar and precise algorithms to show your SWING SPEED, BALL SPEED, CARRY DISTANCE, TOTAL DISTANCE and SMASH FACTOR for each club. Can also use with Tennis, Soccer and Baseball.

EASIEST TO USE: Turn it on, put it down, and hit. Powered by (included) batteries. No WiFi, no downloads, no apps needed. Captures nearly 100% of shots without “fiddling” with placement like with others.

TRUSTED MANUFACTURING: PRGR has been making Tour-level golf equipment for nearly 40 years and is a division of the Yokohama company, famous maker of auto and truck tires for more than 100 years.

INCLUDES EVERYTHING YOU NEED: Batteries, protective case, and instruction manual.

100% MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE: 30 days, no questions asked PLUS an ongoing, 1-year warranty.

I already own a swingcaddie SC100 which I have never been happy with as it is inconsistent in it’s recording – not the swingspeed recorded as that was very good but the issue was it did not read enough hits that were good ones.
The PRGR is also accurate but it reads many, many more hits. It does not read poor duff shots but hardly misses decent shots. I am only talking about indoor practice as due to the coronavirus all golf activities are suspended in the UK.
A good buy and a great pity I wasted the same amount of money on the SC100.

Launch monitor shows distance carried, swing speed and distance overall. Doesnt detect plastic or any practise balls only real golf balls.
